The Greatest Commandment

Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time

I would like to take this space to once more thank all of you for your tremendous work, generosity and tireless efforts in making of our annual fiesta a successful event. This could not be possible without your help and support. I was impressed by the unity and collaboration in the groups. I could also experience the spirt of our community as its best and I thank you for that. As many of you may know, our Parish Fiesta is the largest fundraising event we have to support our church and, as you also may know, all the proceeds of this year Fiesta is going to the building fund for our pastoral center. The Fiesta, however, is not just the weekend. It involves hours and hours of planning and preparation. For this, I want to express my profound gratitude to Mr. Gustavo Valdivia for his tremendous leadership and countless hours from our first planning meeting to the last hour of the Fiesta. I also want to thank Sr. Elizabeth for her tireless effort in making our Fiesta a great success. I also want to thank Mrs. Nery and Victor Lopez all their support before and throughout the Fiesta. I also want to mention the work, leadership and support of Javier and Carolina Hinojosa along with the leaders and youth of the confirmation program. I wish I could mention all by name, unfortunately it is not possible to do so but nonetheless, be assured of my gratitude and prayers for all you who were involved in one way or another in making our Immaculate Mary Parish Fiesta a great and wonderful success. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you so much!! May God bless all.

Fr. Abel Loera, Pastor
