Patricia Talbot visits us from Cuenca-Ecuador, to share her experience of faith and the desire of the heart of Mary Mother Guardian of the Faith to live a life of true conversion. She will talk about the threats to our faith and how to defend it with love.

Abuse may be hiding behind behavioral changes

Last week, we looked at negative behavioral changes that could be red flags for abuse. It is important for caregivers to remember that some seemingly positive changes could also be signs of abuse, such as when a child tries to “be perfect” so as to avoid a feared consequence or in some way “control” circumstances so as to avoid or minimize further exposure to a traumatic situation.
